The ›Drinks 069‹ cap comes in a limited edition. The simple black cap is embroidered with a small logo art on the front. One size fits most. Designed in collaboration by Martin Pohlmann and Simon Emge and produced by Can’t Decide from Leipzig, it is available from Emge Objects.

Katakombe Series 2020–2021

The first edition of the ›Katakombe‹ in the 21st century took place in 2018, where the group explored a format to expand the traditional lecture. Considering the pandemic this edition of ›Katakombe‹ will explore the possibilites of the webinar. The group takes advantage of the decentralised and global characteristics of the webinar and splits their event into three sessions in multiple time zones. In each, artists and chefs will prepare food, a musical piece, discussions and audiovisual work.

›Bilder einer Ausstellung‹ (Pictures at an Exhibition) is the most famous piano composition by Modest Mussorgsky. The record was performed by Minsoo Hong who is a musician living in Detmold, Germany. The composition describes pictures by the artist, architect and designer Viktor Hartmann—a friend of Mussorgsky. The pictures were part of an exhibition which took place after the early death of the painter. For each picture there is a piece of music with a name relating to it. The full list can be found on the back of the record. The idea for the front was to have a clear and discreet cover artwork which puts the emphasis on Mussorgsky, the composition’s name and the performing artist.
Arminio Quartett, Beethoven, Streichquartette

This is a album artwork for Arminio Quartett realised in close collaboration with Alexander Hainz who was in charge of the sound recording in Detmold. The year 2020 marked the celebration of the 250th birthday of Beethoven. On this occasion this album was produced. The idea of the artwork and booklet was to merge history and presence. The typeface is modern yet playful and the historical pictures and paintings illustrate different aspects of Beethoven’s life. To accommodate the music there is an essay inside which introduces the musicians and the opus.

This brochure presents PT-A series (designed by Jens Bayer and Simon Emge) which consists of products that help ensuring safe office spaces whenever home office is not possible. There are texts about general usage along pictures and plans with basic measurements in this publication. It will help people chose the right products for their office and will show them how to use it.

Archive–Archive, database for social actions and collaborations initiated in 2020 facing global crisis and change. The selection of entries circles around art, film, literature, music and design but it is possible to submit any kind of movements. We aim to give a broad variety of creative minds a platform to share their ideas and projects even beyond these challenging times. This archive may survive into the future and could serve as a proof of the creative energy of our generation. Archive–Archive is open to submissions from all over the world. This site was founded and is run by Kevin Moll and Simon Emge, who are both designers from Berlin and Frankfurt am Main respectively.

This is a personal portrayal of Andreasmesse which takes place every year in winter. The brochure contains a series of photographs which capture the town of Detmold through the eyes of a frequent visitor who repeatedly spent time there over the past ten years.
